The Killers เป็นวงrockที่มาจาก ลาสเวกัส ตั้งวงเมื่อปี2002 โดยมีสมาชิกคือ Brandon Flowers, Dave Keuning
Mark Stoermer, Ronnie Vannucci Jr. โดยเริ่มจากที่ Brandon(ร้องนำ)ออกจากวงเก่าของตนที่ชื่อว่า Blush Response ด้วยเหตุที่ไม่ยอมย้ายตามไปแอลเอกับคนอื่นๆ พอหลังจากที่ได้ไปดูคอนเสริตของโอเอซิสทำให้ แบรนดอนคิดเริ่มตั้งวงขึ้นมา โดยชื่อ The Killersได้นำมาจากชื่อวงดนตรีใน มิวสิควิดีโอเพลง "Crystal"ของ New Order
ALBUM
HOT FUSS -2004-อัลบั้มแรกที่ประสบความสำเร็จอย่างมากโดยเฉพาะในแถบยุโรป ซึ่งสามารถขึ้นอันดับ1ในอังกฤษ และ ออสเตรเลีย โดยมีซิงเกิลดังหลายเพลงเช่น "Somebody Told Me", "Mr. Brightside", "All These Things That I've Done", และ "Smile Like You Mean It" ครั้งแรกที่ได้ฟังไม่คิดว่าจะเป็นวงจากอเมริกาเพราะดนตรีมีความเป็น Brit Rock มาก ซึ่งได้คำชมว่าเป็นวงบริทร๊อคที่ดีที่สุดที่มาจากอเมริกาเลยทีเดียว แถมยังมีการนำแนว New Wave (ที่ได้รับอิทธิพลมาจากวงดังในยุค80 อย่างเช่น New Order,Petshop Boys,Joy Division เป็นต้น) เข้ามาผสมผสานจนกลายเป็นเอกลักษณ์ของวงเลยทีเดียว

SAM'S TOWN -2006-ในอัลบั้ม นี้ทางวงบอกว่าได้แรงบรรดาลใจมาจาก Bruce Springteen และ U2 ทั้งเนื้อร้องและดนตรีและเมื่อเทียบกับอัลบั้มแรก อัลบั้มนี้มีการพัฒนาด้านดนตรีมากขึ้น(อาจเพราะมีการทดลองใส่อะไรใหม่เข้าไป) ซึ่งก็ทำให้แฟนเพลงบางกลุ่มที่คาดหวังกับอัลบั้มนี้ค่อนข้างผิดหวังในการเปลี่ยนทิศทางของทางวง แต่ตรงข้ามกับคำวิจารณ์ที่ได้รับคำชมเป็นอย่างมาก
