กินง่าย+อยู่ง่าย : “Meat-and-potatoes” -----> The meat and potatoes is the most important part of something. A meat and potatoes person is someone who prefers plain things to fancy ones.
Ex: My brother is a real meat-and potatoes kind of guy. He can eat anything.
[น้องชายฉันเป็นคนประเภทที่เรียบง่าย กินอะไรก็ได้]
Ex:
A: How will we cook for our special guest? [เราจะทำอะไรให้แขกพิเศษของเราทานดีล่ะ]
B: Don’t worry. There is no need to cook anything special for him because he is a real meat-and-potatoes kind of guy/gal. [ไม่ต้องห่วงเลยเรื่องนั้น ไม่จำเป็นจะต้องไปทำอาหารอะไรพิเศษหรอก เพราะเขา/หล่อนเป็นคนที่เรียบง่าย]
----> “I’m easy”
A: What kind of food do you want to eat this evening? [เย็นนี้ จะกินอะไรกันดี?]
B: I’m easy. I can eat whatever you cook. [ฉันเป็นคนง่าย ๆ อะไรก็ได้ที่เธอทำ - ท่านได้หมด]
