แบ่งเป็น 2 ประเภท คือ stream A และ stream B
stream A สำหรับชาวออสเตรเลีย stream B สำหรับชาวต่างชาติ
เงื่อนไขของ stream B คือ
1. Hold a qualification from an accredited institution in a country or jurisdiction formally recognised by the APC;
2. Is currently registered to practice as a pharmacist in a country or jurisdiction formally recognised by the APC; and,
3. Hold certificates of good standing from all jurisdictions in which the applicant has been registered at any time during the last 10 years; and
4. The applicant provides a current first aid certificate from a valid issuer in either Australia or a country or jurisdiction recognised by the APC.
*At the time of writing the countries recognised by the APC are: the United Kingdom, Ireland, Canada and the United States of America (ประเทศอื่นอาจมีสิทธิ์สมัครได้)
เอกสารที่ต้องเตรียมมีดังนี้
1. A certified copy of the applicants identification document eg passport or identity card;
2. A certified copy of pharmacy qualification papers (such as degree, diploma, certificate etc);
3. A certified official transcript of educational courses completed showing subjects, hours and examination results and where applicable, details of practical and clinical education;
4. Evidence of professional work experience as a pharmacist from graduation to the present, and two written letters of reference from employers or, if self employed, two references from professional colleagues, relating to your professional competence as a pharmacist; and
5. Up-to-date résumé or curriculum vitae (CV).

A certified copy of evidence of original and current registration or licence to practise. (If either the country of training or current employment do not have a legislative process for registration/licensure then a legal statement of explanation witnessed by an official Notary Officer or Justice of the Peace must be forwarded);
1. A certified copy of internship;
2. A certified copy of evidence of resident status in Australia (if the applicant resides in Australia);
3. A certified copy of evidence of any change of name (eg marriage certificate, deed poll); and
4. A certified copy of translation in English of any documents originally issued in a language other than English (the translated document must accompany a certified copy of the document in the original language).
จากนั้นก็ทำการสอบ COMPETENCY ASSESSMENT OF OVERSEAS PHARMACISTS (CAOP) ซึ่งประกอบด้วย ข้อสอบ MCQ จำนวน 105 ข้อและคำถามสั้นๆ ส่วนหนึ่ง ซึ่งใช้เวลาการสอบรวมกัน 3 ชั่วโมง
คำถามสั้นๆ เป็นดังนี้ The short answer question is designed to assess the candidates communication skills and will require the candidate to provide a short (100 to 150 word) text on an aspect of pharmacy practice. For example the question may require a letter from a pharmacist to a patient detailing an unusual medicine dosage regimen.
หลังจากสอบผ่าน CAOP แล้วก็ฝึกงานตามระยะเวลาที่สภาเภสัชฯ ออสเตรเลียกำหนด
แล้วก็ทำการสอบปากเปล่า (ORAL LEGISLATION ASSESSMENT)
*คนที่สอบไม่ผ่านตามขั้นตอน stream B จำนวน 2 ครั้ง ก็ต้องไปเริ่มสอบ stream A ใหม่ ซึ่งประกอบไปด้วยขั้นตอนมากกว่า จะไม่ขอกล่าวในที่นี้
