Kim So Eun first attracted viewers through Empress Chunchu,portraying a young character of Hwang Bong Su, played by Chae Si Ra.
With small face, nice voice, and cute figure, she is called Little Chae Si Ra. Not only Hwang Bong Su, her recent character in a drama, has also brought her love from viewers.
She takes a role as an innocent and cute Princess Sookhwi, a very different role from Hwang Bong Su. Princess Sookhwi is described as a young princess who aggressively shows her love toward Baek Kwang Hyun in a funny way. Out of many characters in Horse Doctor, Princess Sookhwi has gained much love from viewers.
Kim So Eun debuted in entertainment industry through a 'Choco Pie' CF, when she was at third year of Junior High School. Then, debuted in a drama as an actress in 'Sister of The Sea'. Her face is getting recognized through a number of films and CFs like, KTF and Pocari Sweat.
Taking a role as Goo Hye Sun's bestfriend in Boys Before Flowers at the same time with playing Hwang Bong Su in Empress Chunchu, makes her earn a 'Female Rookie of the year' in KBS Drama Awards 2009. With that, she continued her careers by having a number of characters under her belt in dramas, such as;

and the latest drama Horse Doctor.
In fact, despite being young, Kim So Eun mostly plays mature characters in most of her projects which put her to act along with many older/senior co-stars.
To act opposite senior actors is not that easy to begin with, but she successfully settled down all the age gap matter as she has herself get used to the atmosphere with her easy going character.
It is apparently a reason why sageuk drama master PD chose her to play Princess Sookhwi in MBC Horse Doctor, she is said as young and fresh actress which portrays a symbol of actors in her generation and she also suits well to play opposite Jo Seung Woo's protagonist character.
The Saeguk PD stated that as a good maknae, in both drama and real life, she always lives up a comfortable atmosphere by giving energy with her special charms and humour.
Her friendship with actor Kim Chang Wan, who previously acted with her in drama A Thousand Kisses, apparently shows how great her ability is to connect well and build up a good relationship with seniors. Being a hoobae among other senior actors, she always kindly and politely greets staffs and sunbaes in filming location. Showing her amazingly simple and cute side by posing a famous cute player aegyo, while transfering her energy towards Princess Sookhwi character and giving a loveliness to Princess sookhwi and Baek Seung Hwan scene, she has gained a lot of love from viewers who support this couple.
In fact, her positive energy and lovely personality have attracted viewers to keep watching what is going to happen with Princess Sookhwi in the future.
